Diesel Delivery & On-Site Refuelling in Altona
Your local fuel supplier
Bulk fuel for Altona industry, delivered on site
Altona is one of the few parts of Melbourne where heavy industry and residential streets sit side by side. The industrial belt through Altona North holds chemical and processing operations, manufacturers, engineering services, packaging and plastics businesses, and the transport operators that keep all of them supplied. It is a precinct built around bulk movement, and diesel is part of that.
We deliver bulk diesel into fixed site tanks and refuel trucks, forklifts, yard plant and generators in place. For a plant running shifts, that means fuel arrives on a schedule that fits around production rather than interrupting it. For a transport operator, it means the fleet is full before the first run rather than after it.
Location is exactly why so much freight and processing work sits in Altona, and it is why a lot of Altona sites run more vehicles and more plant than their footprint suggests.
Sites in this precinct often have specific requirements around access, induction and where a tanker can and cannot go. That is normal for us. Tell us how your site works and we will fit the delivery to it, including out-of-hours where a daytime tanker movement would get in the way of production or a shift change. In practice that usually means agreeing a window and a route into the site once, at the start, and then not having to discuss it again. If your site requires a permit, an escort or a specific induction before a tanker comes through the gate, tell us at the outset rather than on the day, and we will have it done before the first delivery.
Standby generators are worth a separate mention here, because a lot of Altona operations have them and most of them hold the same diesel for a very long time. Fuel that sits does eventually degrade, so if you have a generator tank that has not been touched in a year or two, it is worth checking rather than assuming. Turning the fuel over on a regular delivery schedule is usually the simplest fix, and we can talk that through with you.
Planned shutdowns are the other Altona-specific thing. Maintenance windows and plant shutdowns bring in contractors, hired plant, extra generators and lighting, and they tend to run to a schedule that has no slack in it. If you tell us the dates, we can have fuel on site for it rather than have someone chasing a delivery halfway through a shutdown.

FAQs
Diesel delivery in Altona
Do you deliver diesel in Altona?
Yes. We deliver bulk diesel into on-site tanks and refuel vehicles, forklifts and plant in place across Altona, Altona North and Altona Meadows and the surrounding industrial areas. Manufacturing, processing, packaging and logistics operations are all normal work for us here.
Can you work around our site access and induction requirements?
Yes, and in this precinct that is the usual situation rather than the exception. Tell us how your site works, where a tanker can go, and what induction or permit you need us to complete, and we will fit the delivery around it. If a daytime delivery would clash with production or a shift change, we can run it outside those hours instead.
Can you fuel a standby generator?
Yes. We fill generator tanks as part of a normal delivery run. Worth knowing: generator fuel is usually the oldest diesel on any site, because it sits untouched between tests. Diesel stays in serviceable condition for roughly 6 to 12 months in good conditions, so if a tank has been sitting far longer than that it is better to test it than to find out during an outage.
Do you supply bulk AdBlue as well as diesel?
Yes. We set your site up with bulk AdBlue storage and keep it filled alongside the diesel. For any fleet with newer vehicles getting through AdBlue steadily, bulk storage is cheaper per litre than containers and removes a separate errand from someone's week.
Can you supply extra fuel for a shutdown or maintenance period?
Yes, and it is worth telling us the dates early. A shutdown usually means hired plant, additional generators and lighting on site alongside your own equipment, and the fuel demand for that fortnight looks nothing like a normal month. We would rather plan the deliveries around your window than react to a run-out in the middle of it.
How often would you deliver?
Most Altona sites settle on a standing weekly or fortnightly delivery sized to their actual consumption, which keeps the fuel turning over instead of ageing in the tank. Larger or shift-based operations sometimes run more often than that. We will work it out from your usage rather than sell you a schedule that does not match it.
